Hunter Douglas expects court decision 14 July 2005 at 14.00 hoursRotterdam, 6 July 2005 - Hunter Douglas and Bergson have filed briefs in the summary judgement proceedings brought by certain minority shareholders of Hunter Douglas. The plaintiffs seek, amongst other things, to enjoin Hunter Douglas and Bergson from consummating the tender offer by Bergson for 10,500,000 common shares of Hunter Douglas.

During today's hearing, the court indicated that it expects to render a decision by Thursday 14 July 2005 at 14.00 hours. Accordingly, Hunter Douglas will request suspension of trading in its shares on 14 July 2005 commencing 13.00 hours. Further announcements will follow after the court's decision has been announced.
