Rotterdam, January 24, 2018 – Hunter Douglas, the world market leader in window coverings (LuxaflexÒ) and a major manufacturer of architectural products, has agreed to acquire 80% of Debel, the leading Danish supplier of window coverings to the mass merchant channel.

Debel is based in Randers (Denmark), employs 60 people and will remain as a standalone business with unchanged management.

The acquisition of Debel will strengthen the position of Hunter Douglas in the mass merchant segment of the Scandinavian market.
