HUNTER DOUGLAS - SPECIAL SHAREHOLDERS MEETING ON 18 OCTOBER 2017 - APPOINTMENT OF A MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Hunter Douglas has called a special meeting of shareholders on 18 October 2017 in Willemstad, Curaçao to appoint a member of the Board. This is the only item on the agenda.

The company is proposing that the shareholders appoint Mr. Adriaan Nühn.
Mr. Nühn was with Sara Lee/DE  for 18 years and a member of the Management Board for 8 years, of which the last 4 years as Chairman. Currently Mr Nühn is Chairman of the Supervisory Board of TakeAway.com and Wereldhave. He also is a member of the Supervisory Board of Anglovaal Industries in South Africa and Cloetta in Sweden.

The Board of Directors has set a record date of 11 October 2017 for the meeting.
